Beloved World Evangelist, Reverend Billy Graham Dies At Age 99
It’s a very sad day today sports fans.
The world learned yesterday of the death of Reverend Billy Graham who reportedly passed away alone in his sleep. Billy Graham died in his home at the age of 99. Reverend Graham once said in an interview that he would continue to reach out and preach out to the world until God told him to stop. Today Billy’s race is run. God has finally said, “Stop Billy, it’s time to come home.”
Known worldwide for his evangelical crusade to reach out to God’s children, Billy Graham tirelessly traveled the world over many times in the pursuit of God’s will as he saw it. He was well known and loved by millions. Having grown up in the time of Reverend Graham’s hay day, I know that Billy Graham will be missed and mourned very deeply by those who loved him. The message of hope that he carried around the world, of peace and salvation through love will be missed as well.
“It was described by nurse and doctor as a very peaceful passing,” said Mark DeMoss, a spokesman for the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association. “He was not in any pain, and he wouldn’t have suffered any.”
“I think we can say he passed in his sleep,” DeMoss said. “Nobody would have been with him other than an attendant nurse.” *
According to reports Rev. Graham was worth an estimated $25,000,000 at the time of his passing. Sources say that Billy spent many millions of dollars to purchase and upgrade many properties for his church including schools, hospitals, clinics, churches, libraries, and museums in many nations.
